I was surprised that Ncsoft made more money off Guild Wars than City of Heroes and City of Villains even with the subscription fee.

Well here we are, page two, and the thread isn't closed. Well...screw it! Let's ride this troll all the way into the canyon!

Someone mentioned mini-games. As far as adding new features that aren't just improvements or updates, I've always liked the idea of being able to play a game of chess or shogi...or Stratego even :P with someone else online. I want to get better at chess but can never find anyone that wants to play it.

What are you talking about "good luck with that" ?

There is nothing in the report that suggests Nighfall sold badly - sales were up if you actually had read it and again NCSoft is NOT ANet - jesh.

Well, this thread has gone on for a bit of a wild ride. "In-before-the-close" posts are just as bad as everything else.

On-topic: Your (anyone's) vision of what a game should be like does not necessarily coincide with anyone else's, or the developer's. To forget that is folly.

Because of the failure to understand and respect that, on the parts of multiple people, OP included, this thread is closed. The only path it's taken, and will continue to take, with an opening post like that is disaster.
